So, this time around, I don't want to weigh obsessively, every day - there is just too much fluctuation. I am going to try a once-weekly-or-so weigh-in instead. I won't always make it on Monday, when I'm apt to have a less encouraging one than ususal, but this morning I woke up with a familiar nasty taste in my mouth as well as very thirsty, and this after drinking well more than a gallon of water yesterday. This tells me I may be entering ketosis, and it made me want to weigh.

Result 0f 3 days induction eating - not perfect induction, but okay: DOWN SIX POUNDS. That's a HUGE CHUCK of regain, gone in practically one weekend..... and a lot of motivation to keep up the good work.

I am afraid that I've been eating like a "stereotypical" low-carber, way way too much nitrate in my diet, mostly just because I desperately need to shop.
I am now officially CRAVING a salad - how cool is that?? I consider a daily salad mandatory when I am on induction since I don't enjoy noshing on raw broccoli and cauliflower and the like, and I find it hard to get my minimum amount of veggies in otherwise (without blowing my carb allotment for the day). So today I plan to stock up on all the things I don't have on hand. I need to go pack up a 700-pound pallet of Fiberfit this morning that is headed to Netrition, and ship a couple small orders first, since I considered myself on vacation last week, but then I'm free to go shop, and I am totally pumped about it! What a difference a few days of success can make!

Supplements - check! But I got fish burps for two hours from the EFA, which may mean they have gone rancid, and that means they are now an active carcinogen, and much worse than just not taking them at all... even though they have been in the refrigerator... methinks I shall replace them.
Exercise: Just house cleaning
